The Suit is a theatrical fable that deals with a cruel moral dilemma faced by a young married couple after the husband discovers the wife in bed with her lover. When the lover flees leaving his suit behind, the Husband forces the woman to treat the abandoned attire as an honoured guest. The suit, thus, accompanies the couple on walks and even at the dinner table! Though intended as a constant and tormenting reminder of the wife’s infidelity, the suit becomes a witness as much to the husbands own misery as to the slow mental disintegration of the wife.
