"The Spherical Photographs of Tito Dupret"
World Monuments Fund Gallery
January 23 - May 19, 2004
In 2001, Tito Dupret, a young Belgian photojournalist distressed by the destruction of Afghanistan?s Bamiyan Buddhas, founded a non-profit organization to document the world?s great historic sites and natural wonders using digital spherical photography (http://wmf.org/wht.html). World Monuments Fund commissioned Dupret to shoot selected WMF sites in China (the Puning Temple Statues and Cockcrow Post Town) and the United States (St. Ann and the Holy Trinity, the North Family Shaker Site, and the A. Conger Goodyear House). Prints will be available and proceeds benefit Dupret's project and WMF. For more information: Martha Flach at 646.424.9594 x20.
