The Special Consensus performs both original compositions and traditional bluegrass standards by Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, and Jim and Jesse McReynolds; their diverse repertoire also encompasses songs in other musical genres such as the Irving Berlin standard 'Blue Skies.'
