The Southwestern Musclecar Nationals March 23, 2006

The Southwests Original All Makes All Musclecar Celebration of horsepower is Back!!! March 24,25 & 26 2006 in Albuquerque New Mexico. This show is open to Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, AMC,Ford, Mercury, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac & Chevrolet Musclecars (and hybrids Viper, Cobra, Pantera etc.) produced from 1958 to present. Musclecars produced after 1980 are accepted on a limited basis. The show's main focus is on restored, original, and survivor musclecars. This is the only Musclecar show in the Nation with cash awards!! This show is Tons of fun due to the interesting competition, for example a 1970 Challenger not only competes in the appropriate Mopar classes it also competes in the pony car classes against camaros, mustangs etc. Making for interesting brand loyalty and fun. There will be entertainment all weekend with all our favorite tunes from the 50s 60s& 70s, fun and rewarding musclecar trivia, Mopar guys vs. Ford vs. GM. Model Car competition, The largest automotive only art show in the southwest, and several musclecar/drag racing/NASCAR feature cars and celebrities. This show is an Indoor event with room for around 200 musclecars and the show is arranged where cars can be removed for photo ops around the picturesque New Mexico State Fairgrounds as several magazines will be covering the event. The show will take place at EXPO New Mexico (New Mexico State Fairgrounds) Lujan Complex. Move In is Thursday March 23 from 10:00 AM- 10:00PM. The show opens to the public on Friday march 24 at 12:00 noon until 10PM Saturday 10:00 AM- 10:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM- 6:00PM. Get ready for a musclecar performance fun packed weekend!!
