The Sound of Unsounds April 14, 2009

Led by Yannis Kyriakides, this programme will mix the scientific with the sensual, revealing the space shared by early abstract painters, the textures of experimental electronica and recent developments in the simulated universes of artificial physics.

The event includes the first UK performances of 'folia', a new collaboration between guitarist Andy Moor and Yannis Kyriakides, and a live sound-mix for Joost Rekveld’s film ' #37'. There will also be a performance of 'intrinsic' by spnm shortlisted composer Angie Atmadjaja, and improvised saxophone from John Butcher.
