Hot on the heels of its universally acclaimed I Send You This Cadmium Red, the Art of Time Ensemble presents The Songbook 6, a brand new program of re-imagined songs featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter Steven Page, on Friday November 18 and Saturday November 19 at Harbourfront Centre's Enwave Theatre.

Artistic Director Andrew Burashko has once again commissioned extraordinary composers from the classical, jazz and pop music worlds to re-imagine and re-arrange popular songs by a raft of amazing songwriters such as Leonard Cohen, Elvis Costello, Dion, Gord Downie, Phillip Glass, Dan Mangan, Randy Newman, Jane Siberry, Elliot Smith, The Who and others; the songs will be given ingenious treatments and interpretations that only the inimitable Steven Page can give them.

The results for the past five Songbooks have been beautiful, complex, adventurous and fresh. The Songbook 6 promises an unforgettable evening as some of the finest classical and jazz and pop musicians in the country bring their talents to the stage.
