The icy and beautiful Snow Queen has turned Kay’s heart to ice - can Gerde rescue her friend and break the Snow Queen’s enchantment? Gerde’s journey for Kay’s redemption leads her to talking reindeer, a little robber girl and a Finnish woman who can tell her the way to the Snow Queen’s realm. Hans Christian Andersen’s spellbinding story is set to the delightful music of Archangelo Corelli and danced by lively large-scale puppets including the 12-foot tall Snow Queen, who glides across the stage escorted by flying geese. Rod, body and Japanese Bunraku style puppets are used to tell this classic tale.
There will be two performances of The Snow Queen on December 2nd: 1:30pm and 4:00pm.
