Location: BBOX, Gateway (1601 Mount royal Ave.) In-Flight Theater presents, The Snow Queen, a 60-minute aerial and mask performance for all audiences that incorporates a hearing and deaf cast. Set atop floating ice castles, amidst magical masked and flying forest creatures, both speech and sign are set in a context of ground and air in telling this famous Hans Christian Andersen dark tale about love, friendship and courage. The Snow Queen is a theatrical journey of real and imagined risk of a young girl's courageous sojourn for friendship, hope and love at all costs. Aerial choreography and concept is by Mara Neimanis. The Snow Queen is created by and featuring Monique Holt, Ben King, Bryce Butler, Mara Neimanis and Tim Chamberlain.
