Cornelius and Jones present The Snow Queen.
Tickets £4.00 all for the performance, £3.50 for the workshop.
Adapted from the story by Hans Christian Andersen, this new musical play takes place in a fairytale world full of magical beings. It's a world where strange things can happen to anybody. When little Kay gets a speck of dust from a magic mirror in his eye it changes the way he looks at things - anything good he sees as bad, and anything beautiful he sees as ugly.
Whilst playing in the snow with the other boys, Kay is snatched from the world he knows. When he does not return his friend Gerda sets out on a perilous journey - to what seems the very end of the world - in search of him. In keeping with the fantastical nature of the story this production incorporates puppets and masks.
A 1 hour long workshop to make a puppet from The Snow Queen follows the performance.
Suitable for age 4 plus.
