Founded in 1980 by four New Jersey musicians, The Smithereens is a high-energy group that performs 1960s pop rock with a touch of metal. Influenced by British Invasion bands like The Byrds and The Beatles, groups’ most popular songs include “Blood and Roses” and “A Girl Like You.”
