The foundations works for the welfare of war widows and children, focusing on the childrens education and empowerment of their wives to be self sustaining. The play is an effort to raise awareness and funds for this cause.
The Silent Front is a tribute to the soldiers wife. It tells the story of three generations of women, moving from pre-independent India to the Kargil war. It focuses on the lives and dilemmas of each of these women and how they rise above them. The play was originally conceived by Col and Mrs. Vasanth.
