The Mirror Repertory Company presents John Colton's classic 1918 drama. This production stars Tina Chen as Mother Goddam, a role never before played by an Asian actress. 'The Shanghai Gesture' confronts issues of women's rights, the sex trade, child abuse/slavery, and what happens when one country imposes its culture upon another.
