His campaign manager stages an adulterous scandal at an inn in Sluckup County, Pennsylvania to help his man jump in the polls. But the plan quickly backfires with the presence of a powerful televangelist and his wife, two criminals looking for hidden loot, an innkeeper eager to hawk his antique wares, an underage single mother, a snooping reporter desperate for a good scoop and the senator's wife.
