The Secret Garden December 30, 2009

Garland Civic Theatre has scheduled a special Children On Stage production of The Secret Garden, during the Christmas holidays. Performances are scheduled for Sun.-Wed., Dec. 27-30. Tickets are $10 for matinees and $12 for evening performances with discounts available for seniors, students, KERA members, and DART riders. The Secret Garden has been adapted by Tim Kelly from the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Mary Lennox, known as a difficult child, is sent to live at her uncle's estate in England after her parents pass away. Misselthwaite Manor turns out to be a gloomy fortress, but to her surprise, she discovers a strange walled garden that has been locked up for years. The garden seems to have a wonderful, magical effect on all who come into it.Location : Granville Arts Center Small Theatre
