'Things to Come' tells the story of a world left in chaos after a lengthy war. A visitor arrives via airplane announcing the scientific community to which he belonged was going to bring about peace, and civilization begins rebuilding itself under the guidance of the scientists. However, an opponent arises who begins urging people to turn against the new world order.
