'The Sanitation Chronicles' is a "slice of life" play, taking place in a New York City Sanitation garage. The characters, most of them Sanmen, confront daily prejudices, anger and violence. Everything comes to a boil when one of the men appears dressed as a woman... Although the language and material are sometimes raw, the overall impression is one of the characters' humanity, and an ultimate hopefulness.
