The Sage Chamber Players, a dynamic ensemble comprised of young professional musicians from the DC area, is committed to performing engaging concerts of primarily classical music. The group's dedication to creating programs which draw today's generation of listeners to classical music was met with resounding approval at their packed debut concert at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage. The ensemble's unique instrumentation allows for a great variety of music within each program, traversing the Baroque period through the masterworks of the Romantic repertoire to the music of today, including new works written for the ensemble's artists.

The Sage Chamber Players, whose name stems from their belief that the wisdom of this great music must be shared with contemporary audiences, was founded in 2007 by violist Kyung LeBlanc with violinists Nancy Jin and Hannah Eldridge, cellist Sean Neidlinger, clarinetist Joseph LeBlanc, oboist Aaron Hill, and pianist Jennifer Yeo. These artists received their musical training from prestigious music academies and festivals throughout the country, and perform today with the most well-known musical institutions in D.C., including the National and Baltimore Symphonies, the "President's Own" U.S. Marine Band, and the Washington National Opera.
