Skip the trip over the Golden Gate Bridge and enjoy the top-shelf multi-instrumental talents of The Ruth Moody Band presented by the Osher Marin JCC. Ruth Moody, well-known for playing in The Wailin' Jennys, combines soothing, folk-like tunes with her exceptional lyrical talents. Recognized by the International Songwriting Competition for her song "One Voice" and as a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition, Moody has now completed her first full-length solo album The Garden. The album, inspired by a theme from Voltaire's Candide, is inspired by the idea "that we must work on our garden and make our little corner of the world beautiful, in whatever way we can," said Moody.
