Brian S. Ellis wrote his first poem, "the sweat on the pillow" on February 18th 2004. He was member of the 2006 & 2007 Boston Cantab National Slam Teams, and represented the Cantab in the 2007 IWPS. At the National Poetry Slam Brian's quirky, yet raw and empassioned performances grabbed the attention of many - especially the Seattle
Slam team members who quickly fell into head over heels poetry crushes with Brian.
He is the Author of a brand new book published by Destructible Heart Press "Pharmakos". The quality of his work has resulted in a nomination for the 2007 Pushcart Prize. Brian is about to venture out on tour with Denise Jolly, Ryler Dustin and Danny Sherrard, but before
that happens, we wanted to make sure to share him with Seattle.
