The Rose City Rollers (RCR) will host their inaugural intra-league bout on Oct. 22 at the Portland EXPO Center. The Rollers' sporting event will deliver a top-notch derby experience for local fans and promises fast-paced action with unexpected surprises for the crowd.
Join the Rose City Rollers for Portland's roller derby re-birth in the same room where the classic roller derby film, "Kansas City Bomber" starring Raquel Welch was filmed in 1972. The big news this time is that the violence is real. Doors open at 5 p.m., rollin' starts promptly at 6 p.m.
Admission to the event is $10 and tickets are available in advance on line at www.rosecityrollers.com or from your favorite roller girl. Tickets can also be purchased at the Expo Center on the day of the event. Beer will be available to those 21 years old and older and the MAX goes right to the event. Come see the hottest things on Wheels!
