The RipTydes Dance Party July 1, 2011

Mendocino Stories & Music Series proudly presents, in cooperation with The Coast, The RipTydes, three outstanding, celebrated musicians. So put on your dancing shoes and come on out to the Dance Party on Friday, July 1. Music starts at 8PM at the Hill House Inn.

The RipTydes - Roger Fritz on guitar and vocals, David Hayes on bass and vocals and James Preston on drums and vocals - are one of the most formidable rhythm sections in Northern California. Their tight, danceable sound is a modern take on vintage top 40, soul and R&B hits plus a few originals and lots of vocal harmonies. The individual members have played with Van Morrison, The Sons of Champlin, Jesse Colin Young, Sheryl Crow, Moby Grape and many, many more.
