How have Russian leaders come to exercise such power and what is the nature of Russian dictatorship? This one-day course examines a history of intrigue, propaganda, covert intelligence operations and underground movements, bringing to life an extraordinary cast of rebels and revolutionaries, dictators and diplomats, while shedding light on the shadowy past of Putins Russia.
