Like a phoenix rising from the ashes of musical ruin, New York band The Red Romance have burst forth from the scraps of the cultishly popular Ambulance LTD. But whereas Ambulance LTD created a dense wall of indie rock, The Red Romance produce catchy, jangly guitar pop .. carved from the same piece of granite as The Strokes and with that same sense of familiarity that their music engenders. - LoStateMinor

Fooling April's single, "Firefly", from the band's debut album found a home at #1 on the Clear Channel unsigned charts for almost 4 months and was featured on over 450 Clear Channel station websites and yielded many live spins as well. All of this coming shortly after being selected the flagship band for a new online venture, American Idol Underground. This opportunity would lead to appearances on FOX and NBC television as well as a full feature in American Idol the Magazine. The band has shared the stage with legends in the making: Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Franz Ferdinand, Dido, among many others.
