The Red Mile Blues Festival May 24, 2009

The Red Mile Blues Festival, on Sunday May 24th, is an opportunity for the Lexington
community to gather for a Memorial Day Weekend celebration of The Blues.
Local First Lexington members have been granted permission for free to set up a 10x10
tent at the festival to promote small business in Lexington!

Chicago’s own Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials will be headlining the festival. “The
Robbie Bramlett Band” and “Velveeta Jones” from Louisville, “The G Busy Blues
Revue” featuring G BUSY , “The City” and “Here for The Party” from Lexington are warming up.
Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials are a traditional blues band that only Chicago can
produce. The band “The City” features Tom Martin senior editor of Business
Lexington, Gene Woods President of Saint Josephs Hospitals and Arthur Rouse of
Video Editing Services right here in Lexington!
