Toshiba, in production with Geisha, Inc. and Mikailee Alton are proud to present
The PROVACOUTURE Runway Show.
This charity event, hosted by Carol Hannah Whitfield (Project Runway, Season 6) and Rita Verreos (Survivor Fiji, HSN) will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Lone Star Chapter and showcase elegant couture creations from San Antonio's elite designers.
Over fifty years ago the age expectancy for a child diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis was less than twelve months. This life threatening disease attacks the lungs and digestive systems of over 30,000 children and adults in the United States today. Over the past half century there have been astounding medical breakthroughs which have enabled those living with CF to reach adulthood and hope for a cure.
Proceeds from The Provacouture Runway show will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to aid in treatment and further research into this debilitating disease.
The runway show will feature ten couture evening collections inspired by the provocatively elegant woman. Local fashionistas, media, and CF Supporters will also have the pleasure of experiencing recording Singer/Songwriter Laura Marie who will serenade guests as they arrive and recording artist Nate Davenport, who will culminate the evening with a special concert.
The Provacouture Runway show promises to be a one-of-a-kind evening of designer fashion, fabulous food and energetic music.
