Chuck McCann plays a film projectionist who spends most of his time in the solitary projection booth of a Manhattan movie theatre. While the patrons in the auditorium below enjoy the film and the company of their dates, he is alone, unnoticed, and unwanted - at least until something goes wrong with the film.
