'The Price,' by Arthur Miller, examines the ways in which people pay for their mistakes. A formerly wealthy family, financially destroyed by the Great Depression, has been reduced to two estranged brothers and an attic full of their father's possessions. As the two brothers contemplate the choices that have made them into the men they have become, they attempt to retrace the events that tore them apart and mend old wounds.
