Please join the Next Level Executives as we welcome an accomplished public speaker, Frank Damelio, as he guides us in an instructional workshop titled, 'The Power of Persuasion'. All guests and visitors must register online, so we can plan accordingly.
The Power of Persuasion
The ability to persuade may be the most important skill to achieving personal and organizational goals. Discovering the art and science of persuasion is arguably the most empowering experience.
*What are the six proven pillars of persuasion? How do you master them to get the outcome you desire?
*Why do sales strategies without persuasion techniques fall flat?
*Is there a real difference between manipulation and persuasion?
*How can you tell when others are being dishonest with you?
*Using your body language to open others to your way of thinking.
*What do your hand movements have to do with how others perceive you?
*Are synonyms really the same? Research shows which words are deadly and which are effective.
*Why is likeability so important and how can you quickly establish it?
*Using the law of reciprocity to get others to join your initiatives.
*It’s not what you ask for, but the way you ask for it.
*Authority. How do you project it?
*How do you use scarcity to get others to act now?
*The principle of “negging”, and how it can work to your advantage.
*Implementation: How do you incorporate these techniques on a daily basis?
Frank Damelio earned his MBA at Boston College and has a rare interest in combining the psychological and physiological elements of public speaking. Frank is a national corporate speaker and entertainer whose clients include Procter & Gamble, AT&T, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Crowne Plaza Resorts, Pfizer and many more.
His unique style of presentation recently earned him international press in a British magic publication as well as front page in the Boston Herald business section. What makes Frank so successful at helping others learn is that he overcame an acute phobia of public speaking and now presents for a living. In addition, Frank has over a decade of teaching experience at the high school, college and professional development level.
The Next Level Executives is a membership-based organization focused on helping its members take their business to the next level, as defined by them. The group meets twice monthly. Visitors are welcome to join the public meetings once per month as we host speakers and discussions on different business topics. Public meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Private meetings are also conducted where members discuss their challenges and goals in a confidential members-only meeting.
Membership is exclusive per business type and prospective members are screened using an application process. All prospective members must attend two events before applying, as well as individually meet with a minimum of four current members. Prospective members should be committed to growing their business in a significant way, and must demonstrate a "business-owner" mindset.
