Both workshops will challenge participants to reflect critically and thoughtfully upon their own strengths, contributions, and potential. The key take-away is give you the tools to leverage a deeper understanding of the power of connection, pro-activity, and passion.

Networking Tactics (Workshop 1)
What is networking? Why is it important, and how does it work? In this informative and interactive session, you will learn:
- how to create a positive and effective networking experience for anyone
- actual networking tactics in addition to strategies
- networking etiquette (both the do's and don'ts)
- leveraging the power of connection
- open Q&A and demonstrations

Participants will also take part in a series of mock networking scenarios. This workshop will leave you with new skills applicable to anything from a casual meeting over coffee to a formal networking event.

Engage with your Personal Brand (Workshop 2)
We hear about brands every day -- Tim Hortons. Facebook. IBM. But brands don't just belong to corporations. We all have our own personal brands too. This workshop will cover:
- what is a brand, and its impacts
- your personal brand in a team: what can you contribute?
- brand engagement in the workplace
- brand leadership and passion
- how to determinine your own personal brand and then how to use it
