The Portland Youth Philharmonic (PYP), founded in 1924, is America's first youth orchestra. Members range in age from 12 to 23 and are accepted by competitive audition from throughout the region. Tonight they will perform pieces by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Brahms and Hindemeth.
