The Platters are considered the most romantic of the doo-wop groups, and it is easy to see why with such hits as 'Only You,' 'The Great Pretender' and 'Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.' From their single, 'My Girl,' in the '60s to their latest album, 'Ear Resistible,' The Temptations have produced hit after hit after hit. During the early '70s, The Stylistics had 12 straight Top-10 hits, including 'You Are Everything,' 'Betcha By Golly,' 'Wow,' 'I'm Stone in Love With You,' 'Break Up to Make Up' and 'You Make Me Feel Brand New.'
