This is a rare New York appearance for the Canada-based Penderecki Quartet. The performance will feature two quartets by Krzysztof Penderecki, plus works by Szymanowski, Panufnik, Kaminsky, and Grella-Mozejko. Fanfare calls the quartet "an ensemble of formidable power and keen musical sensibility."
