The Past on A Plate July 17, 2008

This exhibition presents Ventura County life between 1874 and 1909 that is captured on the glass plate negatives of Ventura's first photographer. Brewster's images provide a fascinating look at that time period's streets, neighborhoods, movers & shakers and ordinary citizens.
