The Pacific Duo has earned a reputation as consummate international performers of Classical and Baroque Music, having performed various programs at festivals and concerts throughout the Portland area. The duo is Tatiana Kolchanova-Parente Violin and Rose Georgi Piano.
Tatiana Kolchanova-Parente, now a Portland resident, is from Moscow, Russia, where she was first violinist with the well known Glinka String Quartet, which toured throughout Europe, Russia and the Middle East and was a professor in Moscow Conservatory from which she graduated. She is now the Assistant Concertmaster of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and first violinist with The Chehalem String Quartet.
Rose Georgi, originally from Russia, recently moved to the Portland area from Germany. She is a graduate of the prestigious Kazan Conservatory of Music and has toured as a soloist and in Classical duets and ensembles in Europe and the USA. She performs in the Portland area in a classical musical ensembles and teaches advanced piano at Beacock Music Education Center in Vancouver.
