In a program of Renaissance music, which heralded a dramatic new age by casting aside medieval shackles of courtly love and focusing on the joys of requited love, the Orlando Consort will perform works by Ciconia, Brunel, Gombert, Josquin, Compère, Isaac, and others.
This concert is presented in conjunction with the exhibition “Art and Love in Renaissance Italy.”
