Razor sharp melodies to cascading choruses, The Opposite Sex are an alternative post punk band who have crafted their own sonic vision, adding elements of glam rock, avant-gardism and theater.
In late 2005 The Opposite Sex released their first e.p.(self titled). "The excitable undertones of this CD are great news, producing well crafted, intelligent, oddly romantic music"(Drop Dead Magazine). "The Opposite Sex offer dark, post punk accompaniment with pounding drums and swelling intensity"(Washington City paper).
The Opposite Sex incorporate video as another instrument, as surreal imagery is edited live on several screens, mixing in live footage and creating a montage as the band performs. A perfect blend of theater and music.
