The Opposite Sex is a dark pop/post-punk band from DC and will be having their CD release show Saturday June 23rd at Warehouse Nextdoor. They will be accompanied by a Multimedia installation produced by Line Of Sight films as well as playing with two new bands from an emerging Newyork darkwave scene.
Blacklist is a dark pop band in the vein of the Chameleons U.K. and Echo and the Bunnymen. Lush sounds and dark textures bring their live performances a surreal urgency. They are currently being represented by Brandon Schmidt, who helped give rise to Interpol, Elefant and Nightmare of you.
The Hunt are an amalgam of The Cult,
The Damned and darker glam rock, their live show is visceral and intense at the same time washed with cascading melody.
