The Opening is a music showcase where local bands can compete for the opening slot for Modest Mouse on September 9th at Pipeline Cafe. It's an event that can give local bands an opportunity to play along side a headlining talent - an opportunity that can be a turning point in a band's history. Most upcoming bands get their break because they became friends with a headliner. The Opening can be their starting point. Let's give local bands the much deserved boost they need.
