After a sold-out run in 2007, Festival Ballet Theatre’s lavish full-length professional production of The Nutcracker returns to the Barclay. Continue your family holiday tradition and celebrate the season with our heroine Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy and her dashing cavalier and a cast over one hundred as they take you on a magical journey to mystical lands.

Family-friendly and affordable, this professional production of The Nutcracker features important guest artists, FBT’s professional company dancers, and exceptional budding young talent from across the Southland.

Sumptuous sets, dazzling effects, opulent costumes and breathtaking dancing… The Nutcracker tradition continues with Festival Ballet Theatre.
