The New Translation of the Roman Missal: History and Reasoning Workshop October 19, 2011

Please join this two hour information and reflection workshop on the history and reasoning behind the new translation of the Roman Missal. Led by Todd Williamson, the workshop will explore how the Third Edition of the Roman Missal developed, situating it in the principles of Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, from the Second Vatican Council.

The workshop will be presented in the St. Mary Immaculate Parish Church on Wednesday, October 19th at 7:00pm.

Todd Williamson is the Director of the Office for Divine Worship of the Archdiocese of Chicago. He is an acclaimed author, a teacher and national speaker in the areas of liturgy and the sacraments. It is from his unique experience that he breaks open the revised English texts, making connections to our spiritual and ministerial lives as people of faith.
