The Nature of Maple Syrup March 13, 2010

This "sweet" afternoon is dedicated to the nature of maple syrup. In the Sugarhouse, you'll see sap being boiled into syrup in our wood-fired evaporator. Visit the Schoolhouse to learn about trees you'll find in the Beech-Maple Woods and discover how they make all that sap. Finally, don't forget to take a guided walk through the Sugarbush where you'll discover how we collect sap and (if there's enough) help empty some buckets!
