ABOUT THE EVENT
There is a strong drive in many industry sectors and organisations to strengthen the role that Asset Management plays in the pursuit of the organisations strategic objectives. In this environment Asset Managers need to take a more strategic viewpoint and establish themselves firmly within the strategic planning framework of the enterprise. The key priorities of efficiently managing asset lifecycle costs, improving asset use and productivity, planning maintenance and prioritising asset investments still remain, however there is also a growing, perhaps more strategic focus on linking Asset Management with broader systems, corporate planning and enterprise performance frameworks.

Enterprise Asset Management represents a shift in thinking – from division or business unit level – to a more holistic, strategically aligned approach. This conference will provide a much needed opportunity to discuss in practical terms the steps that need to be taken to develop a strategic enterprise-wide approach to Asset Management. Speakers will discuss how they have created a unified and consistent approach that works across divisions, enabling a ‘single source of truth’ in terms of asset condition. An enterprise-wide approach ultimately drives down cost. With less duplication and systems that allow greater visibility and insight, capital investments in replacement assets or maintenance are based on data, not assumptions.
