The Musical Olympus Festival at Carnegie Hall April 7, 2011

On Thursday, April 7th at 7:30 PM, the Musical Olympus Festival presents Five Rising Stars in an Orchestral Presentation at Carnegie Hall. The evening features five of the most talented young musicians from across the globe; Slovenian Percussion Duo Simon Klavžar and Jože Bogolin of Slovenia, Ilya Maximov of Russia, Nikita Boriso-Glebsky of Russia and Polina Pastircsak of Hungary. Each is a contest winner of the most prestigious music competitions in their respective fields. The concert is sponsored by World Public Forum "Dialogue of Civilizations," and is organized by Irina Nikitina, president of the Musical Olympus Foundation. Tickets will go on sale next month, and the performance will be followed by a gala dinner. The orchestral presentation will take place at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, 881 7th Avenue.
