The whole family will LOVE this Children's Theatre of Elgin presentation!
Follow the adventures of fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill on his visit to River City, Iowa, where he meets Marian, the librarian and brings along lots of trouble with a capital "T"!
Enjoy familiar songs such as "76 Trombones" and "Good Night, My Someone" and a rousing rendition of the "Shipoopie" dance. This shortened but large-scale version of the popular Broadway musical will be performed by a talented cast of nearly 80 students ages 7-15 years.
Tickets: $10 adults/$8 students & seniors. Big discounts for groups of 20+. Call the box office at 847-931-5900. M-F 10am-4pm; Sat 12-4pm

I had to move it - there are too many good events next week to try and sneak another one in. There's the London Ruby Users Group, London 2.0 RC 10, Pub Standards and half the geek crowd have gone and buggered off to Texas for SXSW.
I'd would have liked to have had something this week, but it's just not practical.
I'd like to try and make it, but I'll be a bit late (7.30?)
Wanted to come, but I'm bound to bed with 38.5 fever.
