The Moscow International Circus upholds the longstanding heritage and traditions of Russian circuses. To the founding fathers of the Soviet state, the circus had a special significance which put it on par with, and even above, the ballet and opera: it was a truly popular and egalitarian form of entertainment, enjoyed by all, regardless of race, language, age, education or class. Requiring great skill, benefiting from creativity and originality, circus nevertheless needs no sophistication. This is an animal-free circus. It features performers from around the world, including clowns, jugglers, acrobats, aerial ballerinas, comedy routines and more!
