Research indicates stress as a variable in over half of diseases and illnesses. Understanding and coping with stress from a perspective that promotes the integration of the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions is the most effective strategy to reduce stress and address the complex nature of the human experience.

In this lecture, you will examine how stress can affect your overall health and well-being and learn basic strategies that can help you manage stress more effectively.
