When the lovely Yum-Yum meets the lovable Nanki Po their worlds go topsy-turvy only to find themselves in a love triangle with Ko-Ko, the Lord High Executioner. The Japanese setting is only a colorful disguise for this pastiche of the Victorian British establishment and Gilbert and Sullivan's tuneful score highlights some of the funniest characters ever written for the stage.
