The Metropolis Between One's Ears November 5, 2009

Organized by the James Gallery on the occasion of “Romanticism and the City,” this year’s International Conference on Romanticism, “song of My idiot Self,” features Charles Sheeler’s and Paul Strand’s 1921 urban homage, “Manhatta,” and two new projects that respond to the symposium’s topic by American filmmaker Peggy Ahwesh, and British Sculptor Andrew Lord.
