The MetroPlus Theatre Fest is back. Like last year, the plays featured in the fourth edition of the Fest are an eclectic mix of those from India and abroad. Of the seven plays this year, we have two from abroad. From Korea comes Yohangza with an ambitious production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which has been adapted from William Shakespeare’s text. And from New York, we have the Concrete Temple Theatre’s production of The Whale, which is based on Melville’s great classic Moby Dick.
For the first time, the Fest has collaborated– in association with the Goethe Institute – to produce a play, Electronic Cities. The Indo-German initiative features a German Director and a cast from Chennai, and the play will premiere at the Fest. Contact Details:044-28575793.
