Gorinto
The Mercury Café host Gorinto, an experimental event combing food, arts, ecology, music and community.
The next two events will be held on Wednesday, June 23 and 30 at 8 p.m. at the Mercury Café, 2199 California St., in Denver. Admission is $5 plus $5 for a vegetarian meal. Gorinto is a Japanese word meaning “five-ring or five-wheel pagoda,” made of five pieces of stone to represent Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Spirit. It commemorates the past and promotes growth through relationships.
